
2 slices cooked ham, cut into 8 strips
2 slices swiss cheese, cut into 8 strips
1/4 c butter, melted
1 pkg croutons finely ground, or crackers,
cut chicken breasts in half (they are usually too thick), or pound them flat with a meat mallet. on each piece of chicken place one strip of ham and 1 strip of cheese. roll each chicken breast keeping the ham and cheese inside. tuck in ends and seal with a toothpick. dip each roll in butter and then in crouton or cracker crumbs. place rolled chicken in a 9x13 dish and bake at 375 for about 1 hour or until golden brown. serve with cordon bleu sauce.
sauce:
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 c sour cream
1/4 c chicken bouillon
blend ingredients and heat. serve over chicken rolls.
