another pizza
this one is topped with homemade pesto, spinach, three kinds of tomatoes from our garden and mozzerlla. a perfect summer garden meal. i liked the idea in Barbra Kingsolver's book, Animal, Vegtable, Miracle, where every Friday night is pizza night and the toppings change according to the season. I'm sure we will have some yummy creative concoctions with our new tradition too. For now the garden is still the spot.

so what kind of pizzas did they eat in the winter? my imagination goes wild.
i returned the book to the library and can't remember, but it was their harvested goods like sun-dried tomatoes...can't remember the rest. GO CHECK OUT the BOOK!
